At his request, all profits from the sales of this sheet music will be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders.

For over three decades, Jelte Althuis has been a defining force within Calefax – as bass clarinetist, arranger, educator and craftsman. Released as a digital-only single by PENTATONE, it stands as both a fitting farewell and a musical reflection on his extraordinary 32-year journey with the group. A deeply personal final contribution, it celebrates the artistry, friendship and shared musical adventures that have shaped Althuis’ remarkable legacy with the ensemble. The single comes with a mobile booklet containing letters from the members of Calefax, including Jelte, reflecting on their journey together and sharing the memories they treasure most.
