Andreas Langenbuch (bass clarinet) Recital
22 Nov14:30 - 15:15Atrium

Clarinettist Andreas Langenbuch was recognised as an exceptional talent from a young age. He started taking lessons at the age of nine and was admitted to the Würzburg Music Conservatory just five years later, at the age of fourteen. These days, Langenbuch is a professor at the Robert Schumann Hochschüle für Musik and the principal clarinettist with the Cologne Chamber Orchestra. Langenbuch will perform famous classical pieces, as well as lesser-known works for the bass clarinet, such as Jules Semper’s lively Collery for bass clarinet and piano and an arrangement of movements from Bach’s famous Cello Suite.
