Hidden gems from Calefax’s repertoire enjoy the limelight.
There are many musical gems in Calefax’s rich music archives, which we have become acquainted with over the past three decades. All of them are musical discoveries, many are by lesser-known composers and come from all corners of the world, but each work is more than worthy of being heard in concert.
In this programme Calefax threads these pieces together like a string of rare pearls of music history.
Hidden Gems is also the name of Calefax’s newest album, which was released in April 2018.
