What has Schumann to do with the intelligence of trees? What does Haydn have to do with fair pay? What seems incompatible at first sight, turns out to be related after all…
Story Tellers is a brand new travelling concert series that combines classical music with stories of today. Story Tellers connects the voice of well-known master raconteurs Pierre Bokma, Jade Olieberg and Ramsey Nasr with the music of some of the best Dutch ensembles. Together they forge tantalising stories about today’s world and matching classical music pieces into one new narrative. Told and played simultaneously, just like a theatrical music story. Flemish theatre-maker Lucas De Man is a flamboyant host and involves the audience in a theatrical evening that holds many surprises. Story Tellers is for everyone looking for a story and meaning in classical music.
