It all started with Theo Jansen’s desire to create an autonomous life form. Now, he is the inventor of Strandbeests, impressive creatures that move independently on the wind. The next step in their evolution: making music. Theo Jansen and Calefax invite you on a musical expedition through the natural history museum of Strandbeests. Can Calefax’ input lead to the next stage in their development?

During the Oerol Festival, we will walk through the dunes and on the beach of Terschelling. As a result, the route poses challenges for people with limited mobility or physical disabilities.
