Calefax performs music by Locatelli, Gershwin (choreographed by Sanne van der Put), Burleigh and Kinan Azmeh. The musicians share the stage with harpist Remy van Kesteren, ensemble BOI AKIH, singer Rosa da Silva, the Animato Quartet, dancer Chloé Albaret and clarinettist and composer Kinan Azmeh. The theme of this years King’s Day Concert is “stemmen uit grenzeloos Emmen”. The concert will be broadcast on Dutch National television NPO2 at 8:25pm CET on April 27th.

Calefax performs in new concert clothing by sustainable tailor Aarden in collaboration with costume designer Eleftheria Lavdaki as part of their environmental policy.
