In April 2018 ‘Hidden Gems’ will be released. Our newest album with a colourful collection of gems, with music from several corners of the world and various periods of music history.
From September we we'll tour with cellist Matthew Barley. Matthew Barley is a master cellist who feels equally at home performing Renaissance or Romantic repertoire or contemporary electronic music.
To celebrate our new album, we created a special app, the HIDDEN GEMS Treasure Hunt, that takes you on an exciting musical quest through different cities (in the Netherlands) with music from our new album.
Calefax tours six to eight concertprogrammes per season in the Netherlands and tours abroad to a.o. the USA, China, Japan, UK, Eastern-Europe and Germany.
